Camp Good Grief
Bereavement Camp for Children |
St Gabriel's Spiritual Center for Youth on Shelter Island
July 21-25, 2008 |
A summer weeklong bereavement program
for any child who has experienced the loss of a parent or loved
one.
East End Hospice’s compassion and sensitivity to the special
needs of children, who have experienced the loss of a loved through
death, led to the development of Camp Good Grief and has been making
difference in lives of grieving children since 1997. Since its inception,
we have cared for 833 children. The camp has grown to serve children
of all ages and continues to be provided completely free of charge.
